Position Summary:

This position will assure that Harman has a base of capable suppliers and that purchased products meet internal and external customer expectation. This position will be responsible for driving supplier quality improvement initiatives throughout claim handling. This position will work with factory quality, test, failure analysis and electric suppliers to resolve all quality related issues, and drive suppliers’ improvement in terms of test coverage, no trouble found, ESD. Main duties are corporate supplier quality assurance, work in claim handling and quality assurance during mass production.

Job Responsibilities: List the professional and/or technical competencies needed when performing the key responsibilities of the position. 1. Manage electric compoments’ claim handling;
2. Review electric suppliers’ performance trend and drive continuous improvement;
3. Support Harman EMS suppliers’ claims related to components (Harman AVL);
4. Review electric supplier problem solving activities and failure analysis reports, drive improvements in responsiveness and effectiveness.
5. Carry on suppliers SQIP and supplier quality day to drive supplier’s quality improvement.
6. Perform supplier on-site problem audits to verify 8D report.
7. Completes other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Basic Qualifications: List the minimum and desired education (including degrees, licenses, certification or registrations) and experience needed to perform the key responsibilities of the position.
? Knolwedge on semiconductor industry is must.
? Basic knowledge on SMT
? Knolwedge on 8D, problem solving tools
? Bachelors degree required in engineering or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies: Please list the preferred qualifications and ideal behaviors needed for this position based on the following:
? +5 years related experience in semiconductor industry and claim handling. Must have a thorough understanding of 8D, Assembly/Test. Basic knowledge on PPAP, control plan, FMEA and automotive quality management systems. Direct experience with suppliers required.
