PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead in the development of new/existing supplier quality systems and process/product control systems.
- Maintain supplier/component qualification schedule, and issue regular reports.
- Process PPAP submittals from suppliers in order to improve purchased part quality.
- Lead in first article inspection to ensure compliance of technical requirement.
- Manage supplier components defects, assist supplier to drive appropriate countermeasures accordingly and verify the follow-up 8D activities and its effectiveness.
- Work with suppliers, engineering and quality department to define and drive necessary improvements where needed.
- Participate in project meetings in order to influence the development of effective supplier development and monitoring efforts.
- Change management on supplier e.g. tier two supplier change, process change, design change.
- Implement scorecards with Key Indicators for monitoring and evaluating performance at suppliers.
- And other duties as assigned by supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical engineering integration
- Refrigeration industry background
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment in supplier quality control.
- Substantial knowledge of audit techniques and Corrective/Preventive Action tools
- Demonstrated practice and experience of supplier and product qualification process, system and process audit, be familiar with the quality manual of PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, SPC, etc. and other quality tools
- Analytical skills and problem solving skills
- Moderate working knowledge of Calibration and Measurement Systems Analysis
- Knowledge of refrigeration materials preferred
