Agricultural Data Scientist

You are invited to apply your expertise in big data and machine learning to help keep farm food circulation services .Our customers depend on our services to run their organizations, whether that is a Fortune 500 company, a small farm, a non-profit, or an educational institution.

We need a person who is passionate about Agricultural data, analysis, and consumer actions to produce better results. We need someone who can comfortably borrow from best practices in the industry and academia and apply them in nimble fashion to analyze and solve problems. You will be called on to apply statistical and machine learning techniques, and work with software engineers to produce working systems that run at high quality delivering low noise insights. You work will be featured in the weekly and monthly updates to leadership and engineers across the organization empowering everyone to produce better results. Projects include: data modeling, analysis, text mining, visualization, feedback analysis, and fast experimentation. 2+ years’ experience in data science is preferred.

Core Requirements
1. Model real world problems into data science problems
2. Use Tools and Practices quickly to identify solutions
3. Definition, measurement/modeling, and refinement of metrics
4. At least familiar with one of the programming languages like SQL, R, Python and Scala;
5. Data Visualization and effective communication of results (advanced Excel,PowerBI, graphite, D3, Angular, …)
