Position Description: ARM MCU Senior OS Application Engineer
Purpose:
The primary objective of this role is to port operating systems and develop drivers for peripherals of the ARM-based Microcontrollers product line.
Key responsibilities/duties:
1. Port Linux, Android or Windows Embedded CE operating systems, including kernel and peripheral drivers, on ARM MCU products.
2. Develop drivers for peripherals for Linux/Android or Windows Embedded CE and related development tools and programming tools for the ARM MCU products.
3. Publish related code, and working with community to make sure ARM MCU products is well supported in community.
4. Write application notes or technical articles.
5. Participate in customer support of software solutions.

ARM MCU OS Application Manager

Key relationships / interfaces:
Internal - Software team in France, local teams in Shanghai, support teams
External-Partners, design houses, customers
Requirements (indicate "must" or "preferred")
Key skills & knowledge (technical):
1. Must communicate fluently in English, either by reading, writing or speaking.
2. Must have a proven experience in development in C on embedded systems based on microcontrollers.
3. Must have a proven experience in Linux, Android or Windows Embedded CE driver development.
4. Must have knowledge of one or more communication protocols.
5. Must have capability to work in an international environment.
6. Must have experience working under version control tools and project management tools.
7. Preferred have proven experience in publish code in community.
8. Preferred working experience in ARM based systems.
Language skills:
o English fluent-conversation, reading and writing.
Relevant Experience:
Minimum 4 years of embedded systems OS software development.
Experience of writing English technical documents.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, with embedded system option
