Objectives of the role:
Our client is a world leader in the delivery of tailored constructive solutions for virtually any type of construction project, combining high quality products, expert technical support, customer service and innovation. To develop waterproofing business and increase regional markets presence, we are looking for a Sales Manager, based in Guangzhou/ Shenzhen.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with key persons at all levels within the organisation of allocated customers, in order to facilitate sales and cash collection.
? Take personal responsibility for HSE, stakeholders and other parties affected by business.
? personal conduct, product recommendations, and site activities.
? Maximise sales across the full product range to the entire customer portfolio.
? Participate in sales and marketing initiatives, as defined by management.
? Collect market intelligence, competitor intelligence, new product ideas/opportunities and feedback to the Marketing dept.
? Continuously improve personal knowledge experience and skills through formal/informal training, networking and coaching.
? Compile timely and accurate sales forecasts, in the defined format.
? Compile and maintain comprehensive Project Files, as a key risk management tool.
? Agree appropriate payment terms with customers and take the lead in collecting cash, particularly overdue amounts, with assistance from the Credit Controller.
? Proactively manage the balance between risk and opportunity, in terms of cost/price, collections, product/system recommendations, warranties, customer capabilities, long-term (>6months) price commitments. Document significant risk-management decisions in Project Files.
Skills & Qualifications:
? Hard working with positive can do attitude
? Experience in Construction and Chemical industry is preferred
? Strong sales skills, good at maintaining and preserving good relations with customers
? Be able to work in high pressure
? 2+ years related experience in waterproofing sales area
? Personal motivated, team work sprit, good coordination skills
? Basic English communication skills and basic knowledge of computer operation
