English-Japanese Languages School of Chengdu (EJS) was founded in 1991.It is now one of earliest professional schools in foreign languages training in the southwest part of China. With more than 18 years’ ordeals and innovations, EJS has grown into a leading school in Chengdu (the capital city of Sichuan Province) in its school size, teaching results, numbers of languages, complete majors and cutting-edge facilities. It has combined foreign languages teaching with the subjects teaching for middle-school and elementary-school students as well as IT (information technology) teaching though it does not provide records of schooling. EJS has up to now successively been awarded as Advanced School and Famous School by the Municipal and District Education Bureaus for its highest academic reputation.
The Languages Department hosts a wide array of foreign languages training programs, including leveled courses in English,Japanese,Korean,Spanish,German,Russian,Italian,Portuguese,Cantonese and other languages. So it is a training school with the most languages and majors in the southwest. And it is also the only school in Chengdu that can open courses to its students in all its majors and languages all the year round.
