Job Responsibility:

1. 
   Month end closing
1. Support the business analyst to organize the monthly end closing with warehouse and shared services.
2. Work closely with the production team to analyse manufacturing overhead variance between budget/standard, actual and forecast.
3. Analyse the labour productivity result across operational processes.
4. Provide product line gross margin and analysis of variations between actual and standard
5. NQE report and scrap cost analysis
6. Manage and report work in progress inventory and provide working capital movement analysis
7. Inventory provisions

2. Day to day operation
1. Set up and maintain the production standard cost in SAP
2. Develop strong working relationships with maintenance and procurement coordinators in order to control machine spare parts and non-production materials
3. Update and monitor price changes to ensure data accuracy in SAP
4. Actively support operational teams with financial performance analysis, and oversight of controls for work-in-progress (WIP)
5. Work closely with the engineering and quality teams to reduce scrap cost and improve quality.
6. Support the business analyst and project analyst in understanding production overheads and with the financial input needed.
7. Proactively drive the direct labour / indirect labour-blue collar cost reduction via headcount reduction and efficiency improvements.
8. Support engineers in production capacity and utilization improvement
9. Provide financial advice to production engineering for investment in tooling, fixtures and other universal machines.
10. Participate in plant stock takes on a regular basis. Review inventory adjustment application forms submitted by supply chain, analyze and provide feedback on reasons for variance.

3. Forecast and Annual budget
1. Provide the rolling forecast
2. Set up the price index for the coming 3 years and ensure the data is loaded correctly in SAP
3. Material planning
4. Set up the labour productivity rate and scrap rate accordingly.
5. Set up the inventory turnover and working capital targets.

Position Requirement:

Preferred Career Experience:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing l costing and work centre ERP systems knowledge.
- Additional work experience in Production planning / purchasing or R&D function is a plus.

Soft Competencies :

1. Understanding of different costing models is essential.

2. Familiar with accounting processes, procedures and internal controls, particularly with supply chain related processes.

3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

4. Motivation and a proven ability to meet financial deadlines.

5. Willingness to drive & improve

Other Requirements:

1. IFRS knowledge is plus
2. Fluency in English communication in English - both written and oral is a must.
3. Fluency in Excel and power point.

Automobile industrial or home appliance manufacturing company experience is desirable
