Part I: Principal Responsibilities
- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software
- Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers
- Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
- Code documents according to company procedures
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
- Timely collect, maintain and consolidate payroll data
- Reconcile payroll output received from an external payroll vendor with internal data sources and manual change requests
- Monitor and ensure timely and accurate service delivery by the payroll provider, and compliant with local regulations
- Prepare payroll reports
- Respond to internal party inquiries concerning payroll
- Manage databases, work time, ensure data integrity in the attendance system
- Cooperate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees
- Reply to employees’ queries regarding payroll
- Good communication skill with internal partners and vendors.
Part II: Requirements
Education background and Working Experience
- Bachelor degree with major in accounting, finance, economic or relevant disciplines
- At least 3 years relevant working experience
- Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel)
- Analytical skills and strong attention to details
- Flexible and adaptable to change
