Senior IE specialist

Responsibility

METHOD DEVELOPMENT
Analysis of existing working method according lean principles
Evaluation of existing method and operation with MTM and proposing improvements of operation
Proposal for new method or improvements for the existing lines and implementation of agreed improvements or method
(Testing of new method with components in test area-> R&D cooperation and space may needed)
Analysis of processes with value stream mapping,

MTM
Work time analysis with the MTM method and comparison to time taking results from process.
Time analysis in an early stage of design and support for R&D development
Maintaining of existing data and update of assembly times
Evaluation of existing method and operation with MTM and proposing improvements of operation

GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT
Collecting of investment requests from production and reporting CAPEX files on quarterly base.
Local leading of ongoing projects and updating report's to global management.
Collaboration with production about the projects happen in this area

Projects and ongoing operations in the moment in the area of escalator manufacturing solution:

Map program: Manufacturability; Cladding assembly , Solid incline balustrade, C/D-A options evaluation and sorting; Line planning for new options
Organization proposal, Line planning, volume and capacity calculation,
Krefeld factory development: material price lists, working hours, method development
Step feeder development rack design implementation schedule, organization
Solid incline balustrade specification creation for line manufacturing
Welding solution mapping
Split and packing solution
Factory planning; India
Investment planning factories; China
KPI audit China
Jigs and fixture idea development
R&D project portal development for balustrade head assembly
Cladding manufacturing in elevator

Projects and operations in the past
Lean project
Macro and micro design
Factory planning and calculation

Skills and Qualification

Good English in written and spoken form
Min. 2 years working experience in the manufacturing development or similar environment
Design known ledge and background
Graduated from university in mechanical or electrical engineering with diploma or min bachelor
MTM practical experience and certification
Project management experience
