Sandvik Mining and Rock Techonlogy in Beijing is seeking for a
HR Business Partner
Sandvik is a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products and world-leading positions within selected areas. Worldwide business activities are conducted through representation in more than 130 countries. Sandvik’s operations are based on unique expertise in materials technology and extensive insight into customer processes. This combination has provided world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.
The position would directly report to HR manager, Sales Area China, Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance area:
To provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to line manager and ensure quality delivery of activities within their area of expertise or across a number of areas of expertise
Provides HR generalist support to SA China, SMRT employees in North China covering employee lifecycle management in Sandvik
Manages the delivery of complex and specialists activities within their own area of expertise
Responsible for using their judgment and discretion to interpret policies and procedures and apply them appropriately for the situation
Responsible for offering coaching, advice and guidance to Sandvik managers in order to actively raise their understanding of and expertise in people management and HR issues
Regularly participate business meetings, visit SA China sites and provide face to face support to managers in high risk or complex situation
Work with HR manager and business managers with people development; sustain organizational competence to meet business developing need
In some cases will be responsible for other SMRT employees located in China upon request

Your profile:
University degree regardless majors
Minimum 7 years of experience working in HR generalist or specialist roles providing services to Line Manager
Solid functional expertise in handling recruitment, employee relationship, performance and learning development independently.
Self-motivated, dynamic, self-starter and customer focused
Good communication and interaction skills
Problem diagnose and solving skills, using applicable counselling and negotiating skills to address to business concerns
Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Good command of English
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English e***ironment.
Other information:
Travel frequency: 15% travel is needed
