-Function: China Sourcing Team

-Location: Beijing

Position Summary

• Source Technical Materials / Services in China for our Global Affiliates by finding, developing, validating suppliers that deliver a competitive advantage to the business and which contribute to the reduction of operational risks through efficient and effective deliveries.
• As one of core functions in NPDI projects to closely work with STC-Orbe/Shenzhen and markets to ensure the costs optimization and ensure supply
• To ensure flawless implementation of the Sourcing Strategy and supplier management activities to ensure supply (on time, in full quantity, in full quality) applying the Nestlé Standardized Procurement Model.
• Support to the new organization - PA2.0 to propose valuable technical material to Global Buyers and markets.

A day in the life of...

• Implement the category's strategies, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process’ tools, templates and policies.
• Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, and develop TCO understanding, as well as the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the category, and identify improvements to be targeted
• Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best TCO contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers (approved by Category Manager);
• Participate in the development of the Above Market Sourcing Strategy;
• Ensure Compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies, standards and Procurement Policy, Procurement Standardized Model, Nestlé Supplier Code, Best Practices, etc.;
• Achieve best cost target along with right services;
• Supplier identification and development for commercial business relationship;
• Monitor new technology and identify applicable opportunities to Nestle.

- Over a sustained period (1-3 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through identification and development of suppliers for the spend category in charge.
- Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects.
- Has demonstrated successful use of TCO analysis, risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.
- Has successfully negotiated in cross functional and cross market teams
- Has demonstrated adding value in interacting with engineering teams, R&D, PTC and STC
- Has solid knowledge on Hygienic Engineering design
-Has successfully managed projects across different countries and regions.
