- Business Unit/Function: Supply Chain

Position Summary

- Ensure outstanding delivery service at a minimum transportation cost whilst maximizing Sustainability, Safety and Security (domestic

and / or international)

A day in the life of...

- Set targets for transport service and cost and continuously keep track on KPIs close to the target values by:

- Driving cost saving initiatives to improve the performance and costs in transportation

- Ensuring documentation for deliveries is returned completed on time.

- Ensuring Inbound and Outbound flows and measuring attainment.

- Constant engagement, motivation, management and close working of the team.

- Aging Stock report

- IMSP related coordinator.

- Coach and guide site operation in order to make Im/Export carry on smoothly.

- Year tendering preparation

What will make you successful

- At least 1-3 years relevant and successful operational experience at market/ business level in transportation.

- Relevant operational experience at market/ business level, in the following areas is beneficial:

- Customer Service

- Sales

- Warehouse Management

- Finance: Business Planning, budget control, cost management

- Experience in the management of projects such as:

- Distribution Network Redesign

- Distribution Costing and Finance.

- High Performance Logistics

- Customer Logistics.

- Should have led a team.

- Should have been involved in strategic decision making related to Transportation.
