Position Responsibilities - web developer, intern
The essential responsibilities/duties of the web developer intern may include but will not be limited to:
· Participate full life cycle of building web based application including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing. Contribute to bug fixing as well as feature enhancements under the guidance of senior members.
· Become an active member of an agile team of developers. Participate in daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews and sprint demos.
· Embrace test development as an integral part of what you deliver as a software developer.
· Be willing to dive into existing product code base, improve the quality and enhance the functionality of the product.
Qualifications - web developer, intern
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
· Working knowledge of programming concepts and familiarity with an object oriented programming language.
· Possess multiple technical skills from the following list:
o Experience with the Java stack (e.g. Spring, Struts, Hibernate, MyBatis, etc.) for web application development.
o Experience with JavaScript, CSS and HTML 5, Angular JS or similar framework
o Experience with SQL and SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
o Knowledge with SOA, REST based architecture
o Experience writing unit & integrations tests
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Good analytical skills, organizational skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
· Ability to function in a fast-paced collaborative work environment.
· Excellent team player.
· A commitment to 80% attendance rate weekly is expected and able to work for 6 months or longer.
