job_description_responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound logistics management to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of materiel to activity points along the material flow path. Ensure adherence to corporate policies and practices by working effectively with appropriate functional areas to maintain a high-velocity material flow.

required_skills_qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years experience in Supply Chain / Logistics or Transportation Management
· Extensive material distribution experience
· Knowledge of material handling equipment
· Working understanding of the various materials systems and how they interrelate
· Capable of working and communicating with a variety of company (all levels) and supplier personnel

desired_skills_qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles
· CPS Functional Job Role Qualified
· APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification desired
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Develop and deploy creative / original solutions to complex problems
· Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
· Solid product knowledge
· College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering is required
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
· Able to work independently with minimal direction
· Solid logistics and manufacturing knowledge
