职位描述
Job Duties
1. The incumbent manages overall business operations and maintenance of the facility. In the initial phase
of the operation the incumbent is responsible for the overall facility plan and start up expense associated
with getting the facility up and running. Once in operation is responsible for guiding and coaching
subordinates in an efficient manner to maintain customer satisfaction, quality, production and business
profitability.
2. Responsible for various product work teams, planning, scheduling, procurement, logistics and technical
support personnel, normally assigned to multiple shifts.
3. This position requires a high degree of experience in various fields of manufacturing. Position is multi-
functional due to a flat organizational structure and the incumbent must possess a good understanding of
product and process design to provide for improved manufacturing of parts and/or major components, and
various technical disciplines, depending on assigned areas of responsibility.
4. Provides information, direction and support to "Work Teams" in a continuous effort to improve
manufacturing productivity in all areas of operations. These areas include machining; assembly; test;
packing; materials acquisition, receipt and distribution; production scheduling; machine maintenance; etc.
5. Ensures every effort is made to establish the proper business relationship with suppliers and vendors
through sound purchasing practices and policies. Develops and implements supplier and internal quality
certification processes to assure customer satisfaction.
6. Performs on-going evaluation of workloads and assists teams in solving problems related to personnel,
work effort, compliance with rules and operational guidelines. Assist in the selection of team members.
Trains and develops teams to perform efficiently and encourages them to realize their full potential.
7. Adheres to established standards, policies and practices related to quality, cost reduction, safety,
ergonomics, personnel practices/procedures, etc., in performing assigned duties.
8. Manage capacity by analysis of the enterprise capacity needs and demonstrated capacity along with
future capacity expansion programs including efficiency improvements and additional capital infusion.
9. Responsible for preparation of budget activities for assigned area of responsibility.
Job Requirement
1. The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience.
2. Requires 8 to 10 years in a variety of production manager positions in Factory Operations to gain good
understanding of machining, assembly and testing operations with a good knowledge of components
products.
3. Requires a strong engineering or manufacturing background and practical, broad product component
familiarization.
4. The incumbent must be a strong communicator and have strong leadership and managerial skills to direct and motivates people to ensure operations level goals are met.
5. Incumbent must be a good communicator and leader to enable meeting established financial and
operational objectives.
6. Competence in both written and spoken English is an advantage
