AMD Software Alliance & Solutions Team is global AMD software enablement team to ensure AMD technology is widely used by AMD partner, ecosystem and drive ecosystem developer to be created among ISV, University, Academic, Community, Customer, and Developer Partner. AMD Software Alliance and Solutions assures AMD software technology is widely adopted in AMD Server, Gaming, Consumer, Commercial product partners. To drive AMD technology better service industry partners, with Great China business growth, we are seeking great talent to join to fulfill the following position:


Role/Responsibilities:
o Overall manage AMD Software Alliance and Solutions delivery team, assure project with partner deliver on time, on schedule, on budget. This person will lead gaming testing, ISV project engineering, Server partner enablement engineering
o Define engineering enablement strategy with Alliance team to drive execution
o Support front Architects engaging with partners to assure from pre-engagement to project delivery to reach original process and goal reach
o Manage developer outsourcing and developer partner's project
o Drive partners adoption of AMD developer tools and SDKs, leading projects with SW developers, including large ISVs, R&D labs, Academic and Universities
o Work closely with Alliance teams and ISV architect engineer as expert support behind, provide expert technical enablement to ISVs application engineers to drive adoption of AMD platforms and business expansion
o Provide technical consultancy to strategic and partner development engagements
o Enable SDK samples on new AMD platforms and tool flows
o Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, QA, and software engineering and provide inputs for prioritization of features and fixes in software releases
o Evangelize AMD Heterogeneous Computing. Cloud Computing and Gaming technology to partners by creating conference presentations, seminars, papers, patents, samples, speech and other collateral
o Working closely to provide solid content to supply internal groups
o English communication is a must


Requirements:
o Strong business and engineering management experience with at least 8 years management experience
o Graduate engineering degree in EE or CS with minimum 8+ years of experience, PhD is strong plus
o Cross-domain knowledge one or more in Heterogeneous Computing, Computing Vision, Cloud Computing, Graphics process, Multi-media process is must
o Vision in industry trend
o Strong technical management team experience in both people management, project management
o Experience in either GPU computing program, CPU architect or Cloud architecture is strong plus
o Experience in customer facing roles, strong presentation, technical communication skill is must.
o Adaptable to changing business requirements including ability to implement quick decisions based on business relevance and company priorities, project management experience
o Flexible to learn new skills and drive completion of business goals
o Ability to work across and overlap with multi-disciplinary internal groups is a must
o Excellent communication and evangelizing skills with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive results.
o Open, team work, work under pressure to drive success
o English communication is a must
