Role Statement:
The job incumbent is responsible for overall business development for target areas/business/industries through internal and external channels & resources, and for setting up, coordinating, delegating, supervising and when necessary adjusting commercial activities on sales strategic, tactical and operational level and providing feedback to Management Team and other departments. Lead and steer the Sales team. ** He/she performs the job in the framework of the BV HSE Management Processes, BV Quality Assurance System; the BV Code of Ethics and appropriate Group Policies.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Be responsible for the overall achievement of sales target for the responsible area
2. Define and implement sales strategy for the responsible area in line with group/Zone strategy plan
3. Lead Sales activities in the responsible area, including drive the sales network, optimize sales capability , implement pricing and cross-selling policies and organize strategic workshops
4. Develop business in the market of special equipment inspection service field and strengthen the strategic cooperation with all levels of local Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institutes across the responsible area (applicable if have IND business)
5. Identify existing sales gap and potential improvement opportunity
6. Establish and reinforce the sales team by exercising the synergies gained from the regional network
7. Update and report on regular basis the progress of organic growth initiatives for the responsible area, inc. regional sales report coordination
8. Act as mediator for sales related issues in the responsible area
9. ** Execute daily activities according to requirements of management systems (inc. Quality, HSE, ISO17020 etc.), ensure the performance aligned with management system.
10. ** Other tasks assigned by the company
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent level with commercial or technical background
2. Working Experience: More than 10 years working experience in Marketing and Sales and 5 years or more working experience in Marketing and Sales Manager role.
3. Past working experiences in QTC (the Quality and Technology Supervision Bureau) or SEI (Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute) would be preferred
4. Capability to interact at different levels of the client’s organization
5. Forecasting and planning, good strategic thinking skill
6. Excellent communication skills and business awareness
7. Strong influencing(internal/external) capability
8. Proven Leadership skills
9. Good presentation skills
10.Good English and local language skills
11.Good PC skills
12.** Good health is required
