Job Responsibilities
？ Work with Driver and FAE Engineers to test TouchPad/ Fingerprint drivers under Windows O.S to meet driver quality requirement
？ Work with Driver/ Software Engineering teams to develop and perform test plan and test case for TouchPad, Fingerprint and other software applications with cross-functional teams
？ Serve as the operations of test lead and team up with cross-functional teams for customized requirements of Synaptics customers
？ Identify, reproduce, troubleshooting and isolate bugs found via software tool and environment
？ Maintain bug records in Jira database
？ Perform WHQL/WHLK testing for TouchPad/ Fingerprint drivers
？ Able to set up test environment under Windows O.S for system level testing with TouchPad/ Fingerprint drivers
Required Qualifications
？ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
？ 2+ years of software quality assurance experience involving Windows-based commercial, customer-oriented products.
？ Passion for UI testing and software quality.
？ Experience in testing PS/2, USB, I2C, SPI and SMB communication protocols.
？ Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
？ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
？ Team player who can work collaboratively to get things done
？ Independent self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
？ Good knowledge of Windows O.S and software application installation
？ Good knowledge in IEEE 829 standard will be desirable
？ Basic knowledge of WHQL/WHLK is preferred
？ Experience in Automation testing will be a plus
