职位描述
Role Purpose: Assist in the development of the marketing communications for Asia-Pacific. This includes internal and external communications such as email campaigns, brochures, articles, scripts, updating the website, etc. The Communication Specialist will become the expert on translating the key messages given by the experts, to an appealing and customer focused communication around healthcare. This person will become a brand champion by ensuring all key messages are in line with the branding corporate guidelines.
Principal Accountabilities:
Developing healthcare content:
- Writes copy for advertising and marketing materials, such as print ads, direct mail, intranet news, case studies, product fact sheets, sales decks and brochures (collateral). The key messages will be always given to the Communication specialist in different formats (decks, bullet points, word documents, conference call, etc).
- Update the content on the Asia Pacific website (across countries within Asia)
- Assist on the development of Thought Leadership materials such as white papers and Asia Pacific Insight Magazines. Talk to the experts to get the key messages and information to develop the content, coordinate weekly meetings with the professional writer and the experts, and develop the magazine design.
- Assist on the development of key messages and overall communication strategy to reach healthcare stakeholders thru social media networks such as Linked In and Slide Share.
- Often attend to meetings with the different internal stakeholders across the region to continue understanding the business and trends of the healthcare industry.
- Become the brand champion by always ensuring that all communications coming from the Asia Pacific region are aligned with the guidelines and regional communication strategy.
- The Communication Specialist will also develop audio/ video scripts to support marketing campaigns when needed.
Marketing responsibilities:
- Build a strong relationship with the client-facing team, especially sales, to get their feedback about the communication/ campaigns implemented. Follow up with the client facing team after marketing campaigns have been executed. Gather feedback and develop future plans by incorporating the given feedback.
- Develop a communication scorecard by identifying the KPIs to track the effectiveness of the key messages that will contribute to build the brand's positioning.
- Expected to bring innovative ideas to strengthen IMS brand positioning thru impactful communication.
- Understand the customer needs and business issues in order to be able to develop effective communication targeted on those needs and issues.
- Oversee regional communications plan: Maintain regional communications calendar for both internal and external communications including newsletters, marketing campaigns and promotions; coordinate across functional areas to address communications needs; monitor communications to ensure appropriate frequency with target audiences.
- Design and execute email campaigns, using Exact Target.
- Assist on any market research necessary to better understand our clients needs and satisfaction.
Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications or similar discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in doing copywriting in the healthcare industry.
Organisation Reporting Line: This person reports directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing.
Additional Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong English proficiency (oral and written communication skills). Strong operational discipline, collaboration and planning skills.
