What are my responsibilities?

- People Management of HW design department for fire safety and building automation and control product electronic design;

Mission of Position:

- HW design regulation management

- lead the component engineering team and PCB layout team;

- Support fire, building control new product development projects

- Guarantees the delivery of outstanding, reliable products and components

1. Department Resource Management, Coaching/training of dept’s staff so that department’s target can be achieved; Is able to dispatch department resource in the most efficient and optimized way; Keep the team in a stable and satisfactory status;

2. Allocate resources to different projects

3. Continous improvement of dept’s competence and performance by (external/internal) training of existing staff; Recruit, Coaches, reviews and guides his staff towards best-in-class; measured by the quality of delivered products and defect handling

4. Work together with Project Leaders to design and deliver projects on time with high quality

Guarantees efficient and smooth project development progress from design phase until product release

5. Active engagement in HW design and test of Fire and building products & components

6. Co-ordination with other departments (e.g. PM & Support, SW,Test, Qualification)

7. Budget and staff's performance evaluation

Make budgets for each year, including salary, business trip, test, approval, certificate, telephone, facility, entrainment etc. Evaluate qualification of department staff.



What do I need to qualify for this job?

1. ">2 years direct people management experience;

>8 years experience in development of electronic products

Wide experience in the field of microprocessor based, digital and analogue electronic products"

2. "Project management experience is a big plus

Fully understand the electronic product development process and CMMI/ISO standards"

3. At least one year experience in leading a group of more than 10 people in product development activities
