A. Overall Purpose Of The Job
The Business Development Executive will have a dual role with two main responsibilities. The primary responsibility is the management, retention, and growth of existing clients as allocated. The secondary responsibility is new business development.
   
B. Key Responsibilities
· Renewal & Account Extension
Directly responsible for the management, retention and growth of existing customer portfolio:
Ø Manage contract renewal process and achieve 100% contract renewals and price increase targets.
Ø Able to identify and close cross and up sell opportunities with existing clients in order to achieve/overachieve account extension targets.
Ø Develop long lasting, multi-layered relationships with new and existing customers to provide account stability, grow client trust and generate account extension sales.
Ø Work with other regions on a cross-border basis to service and grow existing accounts.
Ø Elaborate, develop and implement strategic Account Management plans covering client agenda, cross-department support, communication, reporting plans, and other client-specific development goals.
Ø Ensure that clients’ needs are fully assessed.
Ø Meet and exceed quantitative and qualitative sales targets.
· New Business Development
Ø Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in target industries as assigned by direct manager.
Ø Work with other regions on a cross-border basis to close new business.
Ø Meet and exceed new business quantitative and qualitative sales targets.
· Account Management: Driving utilization
Ø Ensure that all Intl. SOS products, services and delivery processes are fully understood by the client and utilized by end-users.
Ø Actively monitor end-user Alarm Center & website utilization. Drive action plan to increase end-user utilization.
· Account Management: Liaise with clients & departments involved in service delivery
Ø Respond to clients service requests/complaints in an efficient manner
Ø Provide regular activity reporting to client
Ø Ensure client proposals are in-line with company policies & procedures. If a proposal is non standard, seek appropriate internal approval from direct manager.
Ø Measure the service quality and proactively drive internal communication for consistently improving service quality.
· Sales Process & Administration
Ø Pro-active use of call plans, bronze and silver sales plans
Ø Ensure 100% compliance in updating Salesforce, Price Manager, forecasting, and other systems.
Ø Monitor Account Receivables and assist with collection of Account Receivables. Ensure on-time payment of all services sold to clients.
Ø Achievement of KPIs and targets as assigned in performance objectives.
·Product Knowledge
Ø Acquire an in-depth understanding of how the Intl.SOS service offering helps customers to achieve their business goals.
Ø Keep up-to-date with Intl.SOS products/solutions as they evolve. Play an active role in the development of new solutions by identifying customer needs, feeding back these needs to the Intl.SOS organizations, and driving the development of the solutions at the practice level.
Ø Need to understand operational delivery issues. For customized solutions, the candidate needs to be able and willing to represent the Intl.SOS delivery team to the client and the client to the Intl.SOS delivery team, to broker a service agreement that meets customer’s needs expectations and is deliverable.

Required Skills and Knowledge
·Essential knowledge of account management and client communication
·Excellent interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail
·Strong computer skills (Word Excel & Power-point)
·Good oral & writing English skills
·Good communication skills

·Ability to meet targets, control resources and optimize utilization
·Interest in understanding customers’ expectations(internal and external) and desire to assist the customer

·Ability to take initiatives and responsibilities
·Business acumen for further penetration the market potential
   
Required Work Experience
·2-5 years working with a multinational company in a new business and/or account management development role.
·Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong short, mid and long term pipeline.Demonstrated ability to close business.
· Direct experience of selling to the business services sector and/or project related work is preferred/
   
Required Qualifications
·Degree in Business related discipline, with specialization in Sales and/or Marketing
   
Required Languages
· Native Mandarin and fluent English
   
Travel / Rotation Requirements
·Travel required as per request of direct manager. Travel will generally not exceed 25% of working time on average, however, more may be required during certain periods if required.
