Position: Engineering Manager
Report to: GM
Direct reports: Engineering supervisors, engineers
Measures: EBITDA, Quantity and OTD of samples

Responsibilities
1) Integrate and implement this company’s Division/Group strategies and master project.
2) Develop, deploy and execute functional strategies.
3) Support Budget, Capex investment plan, mid-term and short-term planning processes (process capability planning/ layout planning/ manpower planning/ material flow planning, etc.) in cooperation with Regional Manufacturing Director.
4) Manage engineering team with providing guidance and timely decisions for the daily business and maintain a harmonious working environment.
5) Lead engineering team to carry out the preliminary work for customer RFQ package, including manufacturing feasibility study, technical specification identification and manufacturing routing time estimation.
6) Communicate with domestic and overseas customers timely to ensure all the technical requirements to be understood and implemented correctly.
7) Be responsible for in-load of new parts, including manufacturing process planning, designing heading dies, creating documents for production, organizing sample production and the process frozen.
8) Find and introduce new manufacturing technologies to the production process in order to increase productivity and flexibility constantly.
9) Drive the CIP process towards to improving process quality and reducing production cost.
10) Create and maintain technical documentation in ERP system to meet the specific customer requirements in automotive industry.
11) Assist quality and production department to resolve the problems in the daily operation.
12) Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience required
1) University Bachelor degree in metallic material or related.
2) Substantial experiences and knowledge of manufacturing engineering is essential. At least 10 years working experiences in mechanical manufacturing environment with minimum 3 years experience as engineering supervisor or above.
3) Cold forming and/or turning experience is desired. Expatriate is welcome too.
