Job Summary
? Based in Shanghai, the System Support provides IT technical support to our China users
? Primary role is ensure an effective performance for the company’s IT systems, computers, software, databases, servers and network
? The System Support will work closely with the IT team in Hong Kong to perform routine tasks


Responsibilities
? Provide a high standard of help desk support to Shanghai users
? Analysis and troubleshoot users’ computer problems
? Monitor the network and system performance; ensure all IT services is stable and efficient
? Perform regular data backup
? Maintain system user accounts; ensure users’ access right is under proper control and provide a secure environment for users’ operation
? Maintain a set of proper documentation including network diagrams, procedures and user guidelines
? Provide necessary IT system training to users
? Manage the purchasing of all hardware, software, hardware and other IT supplies, maintain an accurate inventory
? Keep track on the usage of IT equipment; ensure they are in good conditions and liaise with suppliers/service providers for repair if the equipment is out of order
? Oversee the company's telephone system
? Coordinate with outsourced consultant to provide IT support to other China offices
? Other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor


Qualifications
? Advanced diploma holder in Computer Science or related discipline
? Minimum of 3 years’ working experience in help desk support
? Solid experience in troubleshoot Windows desktops, software, hardware and LAN/WAN problems
? Knowledge in VMware ESXi, Windows Server, Active Directory, Juniper Firewall, Exchange Server is an advantage
? Proficient communication in Mandarin and English; Cantonese will be an asset
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Strong interpersonal skills and good teamwork
