Responsibilities

Main Objectives

Responsible for Commodity Assembly Commodity Purchasing Division T and I

Key responsibilities
1. Purchase of production material (focus assembly parts)
2. Development and evaluation of analyses (market, AIS, studies)
3. Supplier selection, -evaluation, -development
4. Receiving and implementation of technical and commercial cost optimization projects
5. Leading price and contract negotiation under consideration of strategic targets
6. Sourcing and defining of suppliers and secure effects of synergies
7. Organizing, preparing and accomplishing meetings with suppliers and commodity, secure reporting within the commodity
8. Collaboration in developing and operative implementation of commodity strategies for assemblies
9. Collaboration for cost reduction projects with cost engineering
10. Accomplishment of cost reduction workshops
11. Supporting negotiations for contracts, pricings and commodity related project work

Requirements

Working experience 3+years related experience in Purchasing and Project Management
Education Bachelor or above
English Good English writing and speaking ability
German None
Computer Proficiency in MS Office software

Professional skills and abilities

1. Good understanding of purchasing and project management;
2. Good communication skills and ability;
3. Able to learn quickly, and to then teach learned skills to suppliers
4. Strategic thinking;
5. Capability of market study, RFQ, feasibility study etc.;
6. Experience for supplier management and price negotiation;
