Responsibilities/Duties
1. Provide administrative and technical support to the team involved in the management of clinical trials at CCLS through execution of assigned activities and consultation with other Covance departments as needed; the most frequent tasks assigned would come from the Regional Study Coordinators
2. Ensures the completion of the assigned activities is performed in a timely fashion and that the related communication loop has been closed
3. Possesses a sound knowledge of the SOW specifications and a good understanding of how the SOW specifications impact every operational aspect of the clinical trial
4. Clearly understands the impact of the assigned activities to the overall management and success of the clinical trial
5. Generate, handle, retrieve and document project-related information in a timely manner
6. Contacts Client or Client Representatives (eg. Site Monitors, CRA) for the resolution of issues related to the assigned administrative and technical activities at the request of Global Study Manager/Global Study Lead or Regional Study Coordinator.
7. Acts as contact person between Global Project Management and all other Covance departments and business units for the completion of assigned administrative and technical tasks
8. Deliver good results when working in a matrix environment where most of the task assignments are being channeled down to be dealt with by Client Coordinator Specialist
9. Manages well ambiguity and appropriately requires clarifications when necessary
10. Manages well conflicting priorities and delivers well against pre-agreed timelines
11. Participate in functional meetings (eg. CLFs) and provide input, incorporating lessons learned into daily practice
12. Ensure compliance with departmental guidelines and company standards.
13. Comply with Global Project Management strategy.
14. Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity.
15. Other duties as assigned
Required:
at least 1 year experience (Education can substitute for work experience)
Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritization.
Demonstrated customer service experience
