Job Summary :
1.To sustain and grow IMS revenue for an identified list of Oncology clients by obtaining a thorough understanding of their business needs, developing strong relationships with key decision makers and matching IMS services to identified requirements, consistent with long-term customer satisfaction. In addition, to manage the expectations of these clients with respect to delivery and day to day support according to contract.
2.Supporting local sales and consulting teams to identify and profitably address key client opportunities, issues and challenges.
3.Initial focus will be on driving market adoption of the globally aligned Oncology patient data offering whilst supporting introduction and expansion of the C&S based continuum of Oncology services in primary market research and P&MA.
Major Duties Performed (Main Functions):
1.Achieve the financial targets through effective product management of the Oncology Analyser /PLD offering suite within the Global Strategy; plan and execute marketing activities to raise market awareness and generate actionable sales leads.
2.Sustain and grow Oncology business revenues in line with pre-set targets and following the key strategies.
3.Maintain and develop the product and services revenues working closely with the sales specialists.
4.Develop and grow a network base of supportive key contacts within the decision making base of all designated clients and gain a comprehensive understanding of the business dynamics, philosophy and processes facing them.
5.Proactively service and manage client expectations on a daily basis.
6.Prioritize workload to accommodate regular client support and ad hoc billable requests sometimes working to tight deadlines and short notice periods.
7.Identify opportunities to sell both individual IMS services and packaged solutions to support the client's business initiatives. Manage the opportunity with the correct IMS personnel.
8.Construct profitable business propositions for billable oncology business opportunities to meet these identified needs, consulting internally as necessary to ensure their viability, and to then assist in the solution presentation.
9.Identify and obtain required levels of client training and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
10.Identify any potential threats to existing IMS business within this client base including any client dissatisfaction, competitive activity, low usage or perceived value of existing services etc and either recommend or, where possible, take corrective action to rectify the situation.
11.Provide input into business planning of the team and monitor own actual progress against plan.
12.Provide regular contact and business reports as required by clients.
13.Assist and support Oncology product manager on all matters related to the success of the overall team, sales administration, training and mentoring etc.
14.Liaise effectively with Sales, Marketing, Production and C&S etc as required and with the account planning process.
15.Continuously develop and update own knowledge and understanding of IMS organization and services together with the dynamics of the Healthcare industry and those of own client base.
Requirements:
1.Clinical Oncology background preferred
2.Good understanding of the Oncology market place coupled with commercial awareness and knowledge of key market players
3.Client focus
4.Successful service approach with major key accounts preferred
5.Demonstrated success in proactive client management
6.PC and technical knowledge, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort with learning proprietary software
7.Good presentation skills
8.Good communication skills both in Chinese and English
9.Good teamwork, relationship building and interpersonal skills
