Job Posting Title : Training & Development Manager


Country / Location : China Beijing


Overview of the Position :

In this training function, this position will be mainly responsible for developing and executing training and development plans for China employees to support Business Unit in China. Participate in the design, development and implementation of programs and individual development initiatives related to performance management, leadership and employee development.
The key accountabilities for this training function are as follows:
- Evaluate and manage external training vendors and provide consultancy in proper training vender selection to line management.
- Conduct annual training needs assessment; consider individual performance plans, business needs and talent development needs, and then develop annual training plans for China employees together with China Business leaders and HR leaders.
- Execute training plans, follow up with training effectiveness assessment, and make continuous improvement to training programs to meet business needs and talent development needs.
- Coordinate with the delivery of Sidel Academe Training Programs and supporting various sites training activities.
- Facilitate learning and development programs, including organizing and developing training materials with external vendors, and when necessary, selecting and preparing internal resources for program delivery.
- Establish and review current training process, and recommend for improvements and enhancements.
- Get involved in formulating development strategies that address succession and talent development gaps for each business units and China.
-Set up and maintain China training and development systems.
- Provide assistance to manage and develop internal trainers to deliver required training.


Education & Languages :
- University degree is essential
-Excellent English (verbal and written) and Mandarin skills


Professional Skills & Experience :
-8 years relevant experience in an HR role in multinational companies, with at least 3 years in managerial positions
-At least 3 years experience in course design, redesign and delivery, and extensive experience in group presentation and facilitation in multinational companies
- Familiar with various methods of people development, and organizational development process and skills
-Ability to identify training needs through consultation, observation and data analysis
- Self-starter with good cooperation and teamwork
