Job Description:
Basic Function: Provides technical telephone and/or on-site applications/systems support to customers by answering questions on function and usage of applications and systems.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Manage and build computers and servers to support needs of a large IT company;
- Troubleshoot problems or issues with software and hardware in a helpdesk atmosphere;
- Work with customers to resolve technical issues
- Provides hardware and OS deployment and support for Windows servers
- Automates OS installations
- Works on desktop and laptops based projects
- Performs hardware and software evaluations and make recommendations
- Performs application Compatibility / Interoperability Testing / Application Packaging
- Performance Tuning and Monitoring for the desktop and laptop environments
- Develop and maintain documentation required to support the Windows desktop and laptop infrastructure
- Experienced in deploying OS installation via scripted, unattended methods, Sysprep, and other imaging methods.
- Microsoft Business Desktop Deployment skills very desirable
- Act as a resource for various application implementation projects
- Create desktop and laptop standard software images using Ghost and SysPrep

Job Requirements:
-At least two years of experience in IS or IT (MCSE or candidate preferred); prefer experience working with

Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Windows 2000 Server.
- College degree in computer-related field, MIS, IT, or related field skills
- Good customer service skills
- Good documentation skills
- Window XP/2000/2003 operating systems
- Office 2003
- Symantec Antivirus
- Sysprep
- Symantec Ghost
- Active Directory 2000/2003
- General networking protocols (TCP/IP, WINS, DNS,DHCP)
