Responsibilities:

As a member of Gasification Service Group (Control), one need contribute to the business goal of whole team, and provide quality service to licensee from technical service aspect.

- Support business development in commercial activities.
- Participate in the preparation of BDPs (Basic design package) and BDEPs (Basic design engineering package) in collaboration with design institutes.
- Participate in kick-off meetings, BDP reviews and BDEP reviews with new licensees.
- Improve and optimize the SCGP (Shell Coal Gasification Process) control logics.
- Provide training to clients (classroom training, simulator training).
- Participate and support in commissioning and start-up activities together with other teams:
Facilitate each site focal point to review the project progress, recommend timing.
Of FATs (Factory Acceptance Test) /SATs (System Acceptance Test) and perform FATs/SATs together with process team.
Join mechanical completion inspections (MCIs) as process training experience.
Assist with mechanical and process team in coal circulation and boil-out.
Update commissioning instructions.
Assist in performance tests.
- Participate in the trouble shooting together and deliver input to Lesson Learned database.

Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Control or Automation Engineering.
- Preference is given to people with relevant work experience in chemical industry control system.
- Familiar with interrelation between engineering and process.
- Familiar with instrumentation and control system.
- Have sound control theory background and system configuration experience.
- Have strong analyzing skill and capability of dependent analyzing and evaluating control performance.
- Open attitude, be innovative to new/improved solutions based on practical usage.
- Team work spirits; Capable of effectively work in a multifunctional and diverse team.
- Good technical instructing/training skill.
- Good communication skills, capable of developing and maintaining healthy work relation within Shell or without.
- Client oriented, commercialized attitude.
- Keep commercial mind, e.g. people with experience as service suppliers in a commercial environment preferred.
- Capable of English writing and communication.
- Good at presentation; capable of giving presentation about high quality service programs and high-tech involved reports to clients.
- Skillful in computer use.
