ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1.Perparing cost calculations for the quotation of new products in cooperation and coordination with the Sales Team, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and the Purchasing Department.

2.Tracking of product and manufacturing costs during the development phase of new products, analyze variances to defined product cost targets

3.Implementation and usage of the calculation tool FACTON together with the Engineering, Sourcing and Manfucturing Engineering department

4.Evalute cost reduction potentials on the component and manufacutring side of the Acoustic products including analysis and control of production processes and planned production time

5.Support the sourcing and sales teams with data and comparison for price negotiations

6.Support standard cost calculation updates during the fiscal year and for the Business Planning.

Key Actions to be performed by this job holder
- Calculate Material & Production Costs for new products based on Engineering input
- Analyze Cost Reduction opportunities for existing products together with Purchasing and Engineering
- Track Product Cost Development over time at project milestones
- Implement FACTON as standard product costing tool for Asia
- Support Budget Planning with Costing information for new products
- Analyze cost differences in specific cases

Interaction with other functions:
- Product Costing Department in Germany (Global Lead for Product Costing)
- BU Controlling for Business Case calculation in RFQ Phase
- Engineering Functions in Asia and occasionally in Europe and North America
- Program Management in Asia
- Purchasing and Manufacturing Engineering

Desired Experience/Background:
- Business Experience as (career start in technical job)
- Product Engineering experience in Hardware or Mechanic or System Engineering
- Purchasing Experience for Electrical components
- Process Engineer for Electrical Products
- Business Experience as (career development with costing focus)
- Costing Engineer / Analyst / Manager
- Value Engineer
- Technical Costing Analyst
- Quotation Engineer

Essential Skills required:
- Professional MS Excel capabilities
- Knowledge of standard costing and serial production process
- Experience with SAP
Other desired Skills:
- Good English skills in written and verbal communication (min. CET-4, CET-6 preferred)
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Open to western business culture and willed to work in an internationally organized team
- Experience with Facton or other database programs of advantage

Qualification(s) required:
Any Product Calculation Qualification or SAP Qualification is welcome
