About Your Job:
You will be responsible for maximising and ensuring the commercial success of the airline in your areas of responsibility. You will generate passenger revenue in the assigned areas and surpass the allocated targets. You will also protect existing business and constantly exploit new opportunities. You will create maximum awareness of QRs products and services.
Key accountabilities include:
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails
Representing the QR organisation at trade exhibitions and sponsored events
Responding to queries from agents regarding fares and products and assisting them to ensure optimum revenues for QR
Gathering airline schedules/practices/fares/events and other potential QR concerns and recommending corrective action
Submitting monthly sales call plans, weekly sales reports and updating the trade and corporate house about QRs products and services
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need a trade or vocational qualification combined with a minimum of three years of job-related experience. You will have worked in a pressurised environment with a focus on targets and revenue generation. You will be a confident and articulate communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to identify and exploit sales opportunities. You will need to be fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and oral) to perform this role.
