Job Title : Supplier Quality Engineer
Report To: Sourcing manager

Job description
- China supplier quality control and maintain
-Conduct supplier audit for technical capability and product quality control, risk assessment
-Use quality tools, such as SPC/SPK, control plan, FEMA, 8D etc. to develop and control supplier process, especially for product quality control
-Sample inspection and ensure qualified before send to Edwards over-sea factories
-Supplier inspection document inspection and make sure it follow Edwards requirement before sending to Edwards over-sea factories.
- Explain detail specification and quality requirement to suppliers and make sure suppliers fully understand and follow up
-CAR investigation and Close-out
-Other project assigned by manager
2.0 Knowledge Skills & Experience Required
Strong knowledge of supplier quality/development, with very precise and professional working attitude with over-sea quality/technical and China engineers.
University/College degree in engineering discipline
Quality control professional with a minimum of 3 years experience in manufacture or supply chain function
Experienced with quality control of Sheet-metal, casting, machining and electronic component etc, industrial components
Rich experience of QA, IQC, QC but not just familiar one of them
Clear knowledge of world-class supply chain processes and techniques
Strong experience in managing suppliers quality and development
Well organised personally with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, smart, natural negotiator, rigid on discipline, self-starter and a good team player
Good spoken and written English

3. Principal Accountabilities
Search, identify, evaluate & select suppliers to satisfy Edwards requirements
Negotiate prices and terms of supply with suppliers
Develop and maintain strong working relationship between potential and existing suppliers and Edwards
Drive cost and lead-time reduction programs while improving supplier quality and delivery performance
Ensure quality assurance systems are set up and maintained to assure the quality of goods supplied from China
