REPORTS TO: Global Business Manager - 1. Purpose of the Job: This role is to focus on the development and growth of the service business in China in line with the 5 Year Plan, and plays a key part in contributing to the profitability and the growth of Edwards China service business. It is required to establish the necessary infrastructure for efficient delivery of services, services business development and the services strategy to contribute the overall performance and success of Edwards China. 2. Principle Accountabilities In conjunction with the Sales and Business Development teams to identify new service opportunities and proactively develop new service business for Edwards. Co-ordinate strategies for the services business with regard to after- sales support, field service and hub service to achieve the goal with cost reduction and customer satisfaction with both Customer Care and Global ReManufacturing Teams. Maximize the company profits through increasing or protecting current service margins and creating new value added service offerings to the customers. Develop relationships with Edwards service customers. Deliver to customers presentations, contract documents and manage follow up with regular reviews for key customers. Enhance Edwards China's profit through the setting of proper pricing, managing warranty and cost reduction. Engage with Key Account teams for all service repair contracts and general service contracts negotiations. Report on competitors' activities and economic conditions and provide market share and competitive analysis. Defend the existing service business against 3rd parties to service market. Develop and maintain competitive profiles. Monitor marketplace trends and changes. Apply Edwards' policy, procedures, and systems to local sites and check the service business progress to deploy the strategies properly. Report results of service activities and provide important business information to the management. Identify and communicate customer needs to the Company in a timely and effective manner. 4. Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: A proven track record, with a minimum of 5-10 years of successful experience in service management (with commercial exposure) or capital equipment sales. Knowledge of Marketing, Sales, Field Service, Hub Service and Finance Control is preferred. Experience of drafting and negotiating service & or commercial contract agreements Experience of strategy, planning and business development for key accounts. Good customer intimacy. Good understanding and perception of customers' demands. Effectively dealing with internal and external customers Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Professional presentation skills. Excellent influencing, relationship building and communication skills.
