Overall responsibility
 
The Research Associate Qualitative (RA) is part of the Firefly Client Service team in their office. Their primary
responsibility is to provide support to senior managers in maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and
running projects. They are learning on the job the basic skills of market research in Firefly Client Service under close
supervision from their manager and senior account team members.

People Leadership
· Provides support to senior team members
· Contributes to the overall smooth running of the team

Client Leadership
·Acts as a liaison between the Client and MB on project-related issues with supervision, ensuring that their needs are
being met
·Day to day involvement with client projects, including designing topic and interview guides, involvement in focus groups/indepth interviews and other qualitative approaches, liaison with project management, interpretation and development of recommendations, preparation of presentation of findings, liaison with CSS
·Is beginning to develop presentation skills,
 
Thought Leadership
· Is beginning to build and develop a good working knowledge of key MB qualitative tools and techniques

Required Experience/Skills:
· University or college degree
· Strong interest in marketing (research) knowledge
· Solid analytical skills
· Attention to detail and accuracy (oversees the production and delivery of quality outputs at all times
· Project management - supports team leaders to complete projects based on client requirements and provides day to
day administrative assistance to senior team members
· Technical skills:
o Demonstrates familiarity with computer programs
o Completes necessary database forms.
· Strong communications skills
· Fluency (verbal and written) in English and [Local Language] essential
