Key Responsibilities:

? establishes program objectives by analyzing program proposal; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
? establishes program per the c2c process; determining time frame, funding, staffing and program schedule
? establishes and achieves financial objectives by preparing a program budget; scheduling and approving expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
? confirms program performance by establishing standards; testing requirements
? prepares program status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
? accountable for delivering program objectives
? maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
? controls program plan and schedule changes. monitors scope of program/project and the need for management attention
? coaches / develops others
? demonstrates integrity
? drives for business results
? fosters open communication
? is committed to customers
? thinks conceptually / intuitively


Key Requirements:

? Seven to ten years experience in multiple functions such as engineering, manufacturing, operations, materials, quality, sales, program management
? five years experience with drive train products utilized in on-highway or specialty business segments
? Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Business or Finance
? Demonstrated management leadership and communication skills
? Engineering or Manufacturing involvement in the launch of a new product preferred
? Project team leader
? Experience using Meritor’s Concept to Customer process preferred
? Fluent English in oral and writing
