职位描述：
Essential Functions:

1.Translate documents from English to Chinese or Chinese to English, including but not limited to emails, marketing/communication materials, tender documents, client service agreements, insurance policies/contracts, market/financial reports, technical documents, government circulars, legal documents, etc.

2.Develop a good understanding of the company’s business, insurance/financial industry and the translation needs of various practices and departments of the company;

3.Review and proofread the translation work of colleagues to ensure the translation quality;

4.Assist in or independently work on other translation or interpreting related assignments from all departments or units;

5.Support and assist in the development and maintenance of brochures, communication and thought leadership materials in conjunction with marketing, client facing and other colleagues;

6.Communicate with colleagues or internal clients on translation related matters;

7.Consistently improve working process of translation, communication and strengthen the supporting function of translation team;

8.Create and present reports on translation work to the marketing & communication manager.

 

Miscellaneous:

1.University degree, major in English

2.At least 2 years of working experience in translation or related areas

3.Be fluent in Chinese and English, both oral and written

4.Patient, careful, good team spirit, good communication skills

5.Able to work under high pressure and meet tight deadline
