Responsibilities
1. Receive, screen and transfer incoming calls & take messages when necessary
2. Greet all visitors in a friendly, professional manner and assist people coming to the front desk in various matters
3. Process parent ID card applications & help with student ID card re-applications by working with school canteen
4. Issue ‘Late Slip’ and ‘Early Dismissal Permission’ with necessary authorizations and record in SIMS
5. Receive, screen and distribute couriers/mails/deliveries
6. Receive student absence phone calls, record in SIMS and inform relevant staff
7. Assist in staff travel bookings
8. Support in emergency evacuation procedures and update Evacuation Bags/Forms; Keep staff sign-in & out record and bring along in emergency evacuation
9. Ensure facilities around are safe, available and pleasant to use
10. Maintain reception stationery storage
11. Liaise with other departments in daily school running
12. Administer petty cash
13. Supervise and lead reception helpers in daily work
14. And any other job or function given to you by the person to whom you report
Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree
Good command of Spoken and Written English
Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
Highly responsible, patient, result-oriented but flexible in solving problems
Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service awareness
Willing to help others and good team player
Receptionist or Customer Service working experiences preferred

To produce or achieve what is desired or expected, resolving day to day problems independently and to be able to exercise appropriate judgment devising solutions to related problems.
2. Customer Focus (internal and external)
Identifies, understands and prioritizes the needs of internal and external customers to provide the highest standards of service for the School/College.

Effective professionals have the right level of expertise to do the job.
4. Working with Others & Interpersonal Skills
To demonstrate the ability to work co-operatively with others across the School/College, through respect, openness and transparency
5. Communication
The ability to choose communication behaviour that is both appropriate and effective for a given situation. The ability to communicate/email/write in fluent English.
