About the Organisation:
This is an US manufactory based in Nantong, they are looking for finance controller considering the business development.


Key Responsibilities:

? this role reports to the Corporate VP of Finance in US; the Financial Controller will lead an established finance team in China
? oversees all aspects of accounting and financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, cash flows and compliance in China
? manage the monthly consolidation of financials; maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial statements
? responsible for inventory and manufacturing cost variance analysis:
？ implement and maintain an effective cost accounting and inventory management system
？ ensuring cost of sales data is recorded accurately and completely
？ analyse actual labor, material, and overhead cost against standard / budget; research and explain variances
？ review standard costs for inaccuracies
? work with other functions to establish, monitor and maintain a sound and effective internal control system
? actively identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities throughout business
? responsible for all aspects of VAT, foreign exchange, transfer pricing and customs compliance
? solid experience in working with ERP systems is a significant consideration
? participate in upcoming ERP implementation
? train and develop an efficient and effective finance team


Key Requirements:

? over fifteen relevant experiences in finance and accounting with the most recent five years in the controller position; previous work experience in “Big 4” is highly preferred
? extensive knowledge of PRC and US GAAP is essential
? strong manufacturing experience with thorough understanding of costing and inventory management
? team player, must have the capability to work well and efficiently with the GM and other department managers
? prior experience in managing bank relationship and facility lines are preferred
? fluent in Mandarin and English is required
? hands on, proactive, result-oriented, positive and must have excellent communication skills
