Day to Day Responsibilities:
Manufacturing process trouble shooting; lead DMAIC process improvement projects; lead process and product development projects on customer demand, and based on evolution of existing products and processes; interface with suppliers to resolve quality issues and evaluate improved materials; sometimes interfaces directly with customers; provide regular written and verbal reports on progress of projects; collaborate with and supervise team of engineers from Chinese contract manufacturing partner.
Education & Experience
Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical or Materials Engineering, at least four years of experience working in manufacturing plant as process engineer; prior experience with photolithography preferred
Required Skills
Good in problem solving, familiar with Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, familiar with Design of Experiments and statistical analysis, capable of writing technical presentations and reports, capable of verbal and written communication in English, experience working in teams, led improvement projects
Desired Skills
Highly experienced in Design of Experiments and statistical analysis; experienced in leading project teams; experienced in interaction with customers, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and foreign colleagues; verbally fluent in English, experienced in writing reports and presentations in English
Soft Skills
Self motivated, willing to help others to achieve common goals
