Student Service Supervisor

Job Role/Key Areas of Responsibility

Student Service Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and managing daily activities of Student Service Associates and Ayis and Ashus in the center. The Service Supervisor liaises with the other function team leaders in the center to ensure smooth customer-focused operations.

Level of English required for this role is Upper-Intermediate stage.

Supervision:

Reports directly to Center Operations Director with support and guidance provided by the Regional Service Manager.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Communicate and implement company policy and standards in the center

2. Project hiring needs for the Service Team based on growth and staff turnover and work with the Center Operation Director to interview and recruit candidates

3. Conduct all on-boarding and on-going training for Student Service Associates

4. Help the Center to achieve service and business goals (such as increased student satisfaction, referral and service income, a reduction of refunds)

5. Create and maintain a happy, clean and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors

6. Collect student feedback, follow-up, resolve issues and/or escalate when necessary

7. Manage service suppliers and center service stock control

8. Supervise and manage the Ayi team

In this role, people are given the responsibilities and ownerships to manage a team. By working in a multi-departmental environment, people are exposed to different aspects of the business, which leads to a deeper and boarder scope and understanding of the education industry. Career progression can lead in a number of directions including Educational Services, more senior Operations roles or Sales.
