Overview:

This position will be responsible for the Yocto Linux development. The Yocto Project is an open source collaboration project that provides templates, tools and methods to help you create custom Linux-based systems for embedded products regardless of the hardware architecture. You can contribute your code freely to the open source world, work closely with the worldwide excellent Linux engineer, learn lots of things about Linux development, and so on.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor or above degree(or above) in computer science, electronics or other related majors.

· At least 2 years of Linux system development experience with good skills of the C-language, python, shell scripting and GNU make.

· Knowledge and understanding of the following concepts: Linux user space, kernel loadable modules, cross-compiling, static and dynamic linking, guarding against host dependencies during cross-compilation.

· Have experience with source control best practices, and experience with git is a plus.

· Good team communication and team work capability. being able to work in a group, share tasks, complete tasks, and work on more than two tasks in parallel.

· A fast learner, be adaptable in new computational environments, and able to take over tasks.

· Good knowledge and experience with Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Gentoo and so on) is preferred.

· Development experience with the open source community is preferred.

· Good English reading & writing skills.
