Responsibilities:

The developing Engineer is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of middleware of VxWorks product at Wind River. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining current VxWorks middleware product including CLI engine, web server and SNMP stack.

• Work with global customer, product marketing and customer support team to develop and maintain current VxWorks middleware product.
• Ensure TTM and quality Wind River products based on effective development efforts
• Developing the new features followed by company process to meet customer and market requirement.
• Keep good communication with relevant teams both by English and Mandarin.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years working experience in embedded system development.
• Good understanding and experience of network management, web server or CLI engine.
• Good skills of the C-language and assembly languages.
• Good understanding and experience of at least one kind of the embedded operating system, e.g. VxWorks, Linux, UNIX and OSE.
• Good team communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Able to work independently and as a part of a distributed team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivate, persistent and proactive attitude
• BS CS/EE Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors.

Preferred:

• Familiar with the Networking stack architecture based on IPv4/IPv6.
• SNMP, web server development and maintenance experience is highly required.
• Knowledge of Wind River customer applications.
• Knowledge of 3rd party tools and script language such as tcl and python.
• Familiarity with large scale and complex development processes.
• Knowledge of industry standard performance metrics for OS and networking techniques.
