Reporting to the Global Packaging Manager and reporting to China Purchasing Manager as second line manager, you will, as member of a Volvo Parts China Purchasing team, be responsible for sourcing of packaging material to protect the spare parts from the supply chain.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

- Be involved in vehicle/engine project and initiate packaging material to protect the spare parts through the logistics chain.
- Initiate, analyze and negotiate with suppliers for implementing supplier packaging.
- Handling of packaging issues concerning supplier packed parts are warehouse, suppliers and dealers.
- Introduce suppliers to Volvo Logistics Emballage pool
- Act as project leader/member in types of projects.
- Secure those parts are well protected through the logistic chain.
- Actively work to decrease the cost of packaging.
- Take actions on problem reporting and deviations from customers.
- Initiate and take action upon potential improvements.
- Act according to environment al policies within Volvo Parts.
- Act according to BA's requirements to secure and strengthen the different brands.
- To fulfill decided targets within area of responsibility.

Requirements:

- University degree in logistics engineer or packaging engineer.
- Min. 2 years experience in equivalent job
- Anaytical skilled & goal oriented
- Convincing attitude, motivating & pro-active
- Team oriented & service minded
- Fluent in English
- System skilled (office package)
