职位描述
Position Title: VPT_ Sourcing Buyer (20450BR)
Key responsibilities
? Responsible for a purchasing portfolio of components
? Perform the activities required for the portfolio: negotiations, optimize the total cost (Quality, logistics, manufacturing, etc.), purchasing requisitions, tooling investment files
? Search for sophisticated supplier base of assigned components in Asia. Find the opportunities to improve the items cost and take action to implement them.
? Perform sourcing activities and develop sourcing strategy under his/her manager assignment.
? Update the files and purchasing database for his/her portfolio. Like supplier presentation, RFQ documents, supplier quotation, Visit Report etc
? Work with project team to secure the purchasing meet the project requirement and schedule
? Support product development and product modifications in the portfolio
? Drive product quality improvements and technical rationalization with supplier involvement: coordinate with SQA, supplier, PD to organize the review or discussion, summary the meeting minutes and follow up the action plan.
? Monitor supplier capacity to secure plant deliveries. In close collaboration with manufacturing logistics drive resolutions of disturbances
? Manage the working relationships with suppliers: solve quality, delivery, cost problems, participate in SEM evaluations
? Work in accordance with Powertrain processes, the Volvo Way, and Powertrain values and behaviors.
Main Competencies
? Bachelor degree in Business and/or Mechanical degree, Auto Engineering plus.
? Master degree will be a plus;
? Chinese and English are mandatory
? At least 3 years relevant purchasing/ SQD/ or project working experience in automotive industry
? Willing to travel ( domestic & international )
? Open-Minded and team-worker
Minimum Education & Experience Required
? University degree required, Master of Science / Engineer (SQE is supplier, part and process oriented)
? Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive .
? Understanding of APQP / PPAP quality process
? Chinese and English language skills compulsory
? Familiar with the Microsoft Office software
? Japanese is a plus
Additional Qualifications
? Knowledge in engine components is a plus:
? Forging, iron or aluminum casting, sheet metal, etc....
