Position Title: GTT- Buyer(23677BR)
POSITION CONTENT AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP(S):
? Purchase for the brand(s) items in accordance with the defined strategies in Asia, by optimizing the total cost and ensuring the QDCF compliance of the purchased items.
? Report to the Dept Continental Purchasing Group Manager.
? Work under the leadership of the Synergy Purchasing Manager on the business side for his segments in Asia
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
? Responsible for a purchasing portfolio of components in VD
? Support product development and product modifications in the portfolio
? Perform the activities required for the portfolio: negotiations, optimize the total cost (Quality, logistics, manufacturing, etc.), purchasing requisitions, tooling investment files
? Search for opportunities to improve the items cost and take action to implement them.
? Contribute Asia strategies to global strategies (knowledge about the Asian supplier market) and action plans.
? Contribute to the achievement of the Asia KPI's by implementing strategies and cost saving activities.
? Manage the working relationships with suppliers: solve quality, delivery, cost problems, participate in SEM evaluations
? Update the files and purchasing database for his/her portfolio
EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? University degree in Business, Engineering or related field (extensive experience and strong performance can substitute for lack of diploma)
? Average of 5 years' experience as Buyer
? Fluent in English
? Japanese is a plus

? Negotiation skills: (Internally/Externally)
? Financial & Cost Analysis
? Project Management:
? Quality
? Legal understanding
