Position Overview:
Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) is seeking an experienced and talented Technical Integration Consultant. As a Technical Integration Consultant you will own and drive the technical integration discussions with a multitude of white label affiliate partners from a high level concept design to operational delivery and beyond. You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization and will report into EAN's Technical Support team. A passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with excellent communication skills and business acumen are critical to a Technical Integration Manager's success.
Responsibilities:
Support of affiliate partner and technical team development efforts
? Effectively design, communicate, monitor, analyze, and approve API program usage guidelines and requirements
? Analyze and troubleshoot highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutions
? Provide functional/technical assistance/guidance where required
? Support technical integration discussions with key affiliate partners in person and virtually
? Collaborate with, assist, and coach the Level 1/2 support team with complex escalations that require direct contact with top partners
Actively seeks opportunities to expand the interface as a product line
? Work with team members to define the product and design various uses of the program, advise how the product should be or will be used with specific expectations and business models of partners
? Advise on API program with technical teams for functional aspects, enhancements, modifications, and scalability
? Communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customers
? Perform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementation
Qualifications:
? Proficient with APIs and SQL as related to other programming languages
? Ability to deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issues
? Ability to communicate technical specifications and troubleshooti without supervision
? Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems
? Excellent oral/written communication skills
? Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment
? Familiarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume web sites
? Fluent in common oral/written English.

Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Bachelor's degree (Science Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred)
Technical consultantancy experience preferred in Online Travel
