Digital Marketing Manager/E-Commerce Manager Job Description
This position reports to the head of Marketing for RAC and HERC.
Job Purposes:
? To construct the company’s website and e-commerce platform and be responsible for their efficient day-to-day operation
? To drive and deliver the company digital marketing strategy and implementation for the company’s website, e-commerce and online initiatives in order to support the company’s branding, online sales and overall marketing objectives(awareness/conversion/repeat) with performance
Key Result Areas:
? Constructing the company website superior to those of the key competitors, and ensuring day-to-day smooth and efficient operation
? Developing e-commerce platform and tactical campaign to drive online booking/sales
? Aligned with marketing calendar, planning and implementing all online marketing campaigns for company branding and products to drive image, establish awareness and reach new customers in the digital media environment. Planning and budget to include all on-line channels, including advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social media, SEO/SEM and mobile device applications, etc.
? Developing and executing solid plans to increase page views, UV and site stickiness, as well as to support membership program to encourage repeated purchase
? Responsible to work with creative team/agencies to improve the design, usability, content and conversion points of the company website and for the promotion and growth of the company’s web properties
? Reviewing all digital communications to drive leads and ensure through gap analysis, appropriate support to correct performance with cost effective targets
? Ensuring all digital marketing campaigns running smoothly with completion of projects across channels, maximizing online reporting to ensure that revenue and cost per acquisition are managed and to ensure delivery of ROI
? Analyzing ROI of online marketing campaign and be accountable for the number of leads generated from web
? Monitor the publicity of Hertz on the web, good or bad, and take actions accordingly
? Initiating online research projects to get understanding on customer insight and customer metrics that drive marketing and sales programs
? Managing the relevant agencies day-to-day to ensure the optimal performance in investment
? Manage digital marketing budget and cross-channel allocation, optimize the investment based on on-going tracking analysis
Qualifications & Experiences:
? Minimum 5 years of working experience and 3 years hands-on experience in digital marketing, online PR and e-commerce fields
? Deep personal engagement in digital marketing and social media best practice
? Strong understanding of digital landscape and how it can be used to support and develop the brand and products
? Experience of digital content management
? Proficiency using tools to track and report site performance
? Broader digital skills encompassing keyword generation, PPC marketing, email, etc.
? Good understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
? Excellent English and Chinese communication and skills in both writing and speaking
? Bachelor degree or above in business majors
? The maturity and ability to work independently
