General Solutions End User Services is looking for a Service Manager in China.


The End User Services department is responsible for management of the Volvo IT Service portfolio of End User Services, with the objective to ensure that Volvo IT has an attractive and competitive portfolio of service offerings.



The End User Services Solution Area has to ensure that an appropriate portfolio of End User services are created and maintained over the entire service life cycle. The Service Portfolio shall proactively meet customer demands in respect to functionality, quality, list price and availability. It should also meet Volvo IT's long term demands in terms of profitability, volume growth and ability to deliver.


Main responsibilities:


Service Manager is responsible to manage the related services provided to Volvo Group and external customers.

The Service Manager is responsible to ensure that customer demands are understood. He will have a special focus on customers located in China, but will mainly act globally.



1 Support the Service Area Manager developing services including packaging, marketing material and service calculations.

2 Ensure that customer demands are understood and service portfolio takes into account those expectations.

3 Take part in global and local marketing events.

4 Responsible to announce new services to the Service Review committees.

5 Support pre-sales and sales in the first phases of the sales cycle.

6 Ensure that appropriate services are available on a specific market.

7 Contribute to the external business development promoting service portfolio toward the external customers.



Qualifications:


1 Excellent marketing knowledge.

2 Very good GFS knowledge

3 Good general knowledge of End User Services.

4 Able to convert technique to business benefits.

5 Good knowledge of the customer's business, customer's need and customer satisfaction.

6 Ability to cooperate within a global company and to take decisions.

7 Documented leadership competence and experience.

8 Fluent in English both spoken and written.



You will be reporting to the Director for General Solutions, End User Services.



You will be working at Volvo IT Beijing.
