Role (Purpose of the job)

·Based in Asia Sales - Region China, to actively support Mining department for China and Mongolia Markets (parts, service, competence development and aftermarket system) related matters and process, to provide world class after-market service to dealer network and customers.

Key Responsibilities

1.Mining After-market strategy development

·Design Mining After-Market strategy (organization; human resources; marketing; DD) for the different markets that are under Mining department responsibility.

·Define annual after-market business plan (parts, exchange, and other soft products) relative to the different brands and different markets - with full support from central team.

·Build a strong and fruitful long term business relationship with Mining Key Accounts.

2. Parts business management

·Provides guidance and supports for parts price management to ensure the parts GP

·Provides guidance and support parts stock management for the responsible dealers / importers with full support from central team.

·Drives parts availabilities in the responsible dealer/importers warehouses (Hub warehouse and/or on site warehouse): Ensure low parts inventory and highly parts fill rate.

·Participate to Volvo Parts -quarterly meeting - to analyse the relevant KPI and solve parts supply problem.

·Collect and reports parts price information from competitors to define, with the full support from Central Team, an active price management (special prices - discount prices and parts pricing policy).

·Closely follows-up the parts sales performance (volume-GP) and take remedial action plans if needed.

3. Service management and technical Support

·Supervises and secures the implementation of Mining service standards, technical, warranty and quality procedures and its respective policies (including systems, processes) at the dealers and private importers for Volvo Brands.

·Supports Mining dealers and Importers to solve technical incidents and customer technical complaints.

·Supports Mining dealers and importers to fulfil recall/campaign.

4. Competence development (technical)

·Provides the necessary support to the Training Center Manager in order to provide the needed and required technical training as requested by external as well as internal customers.

5. Implementation After-market implementation

·Ensures the compliance of all required Volvo brands processes and systems in place and correctly applied;

·Provides trainings to dealers of the systems and processes if needed.

6. Mining After-Market Department management

·Be responsible for performance of the Mining After-market team,

·Ensures employees satisfaction and their respective development;

·Participates in recruitment process of after-market team.

Main competence requirements

·Strong leadership and communication skills;

·Customer and business oriented;

·Flexible (willing to travel);

·Conflicts Management;

·Autonomy

·Strong knowledge and extensive working experience in aftermarket operation (mining operations as a Plus).

·Good English level in reading, writing and speaking.

·Good Chinese level in speaking as a Plus.
