Role (Purpose of the job)

Due to potential additional workloads resulted from BT-VAT changes, we need to hire one more staff focus on taxation treatment to cope with VAT and other taxes works, meanwhile, the staff will also take part of treasury routine works.

Key Responsibility

Tax responsibilities

· Be responsible for tax registration, application for VAT certification, blank invoice purchase, etc.

· Prepare tax (CIT, Business tax, VAT, Stamp duty, etc.) returns, reports and correspondences to tax authorities.

· Handle regular invoice printing and relevant filing coordination.

· Handle the process and upgrade for tax invoice printing system.

· Assist manager communicate with tax authorities to keep good relationship with local tax officers.

· Assist manager in communicating with external tax audits, including tax audits from tax authorities and audits from CPA firms.

· Assist manager doing technically research to track updated information relating to taxes, and ensure that all the tax processes are in compliance with tax authority guidelines.

· Other ad hoc tax related works.

Treasury responsibilities

· Back-up cashier to process payments and direct debit by e-banking system or finance system

· Prepare bank reconciliation.

· Other treasury related works.

Main Competence Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or business related field

· Two years working experience in tax function

· Knowledge on China's local tax law and regulations and familiar with VAT is preferred

· Has experience in VAT calculation, reconciliation and submission

· Basic accounting knowledge

· Show willingness to learn more and initiate plans on self-development.

· Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
